Honeymoon is a photographic and video installation that presents recordings made inFebruary 2018 by Carlos Silva during his honeymoon trip with Violeta in Italy.They visited Venice, Milan, Florence, Pisa, Rome, and Naples. Beyond romantic idyll and tourist postcards, the images are fragments of a love-and-memory album. 

STATEMENT
My work begins with an experience of the everyday:I observe what surrounds me—the city, its inhabitants, its spaces, and objects—recording the tension they establish with the present. I use photography and video interchangeably as a daily exercise to form a casual archive from which to reproduce and transform images, giving them a new material life, whether in installations or site-specific interventions
