Curators: @csilvat for Chile and @sergio_casella_fotosciamanna for Italy

BetweenRome and Valparaíso lies a distance of 12,000 km. Italy andChile —two countries so far apart— yet through the lenses of 12 photographers, the gaze will ultimately embrace shared themes or highlight distinct particularities. Our proposal is to involve six Chilean photographers and six Italian photographers in a long-distance parallel on contemporaneity. Each author will be free to provide two photographs drawn from a personal project. The images will be accompanied by a synopsis of the work, a short biography, and references to social media and personal websites. The curators will pair each Italian author with a Chilean author, and the diptychs will be exhibited two at a time, month by month, in the exhibition venue that is Empegno in Bracciano.
